Patagonia Whale Watching from the Coast and on board, in Puerto Piramides Valdes Peninsula

Whale Watching from the Coast and on board, in Puerto Piramides Valdes Peninsula

Photographing a whale from the coast, would sound ridiculous if it were not Valdes Peninsula. In the calm waters of Golfo Nuevo and San José, many whales for months are just meters from the coast, swimming mother and calf, sometimes belly-up with two pectoral fins out of water sometimes hit the whale with its tail, or swim from one end to another of the Bay of Puerto Piramides.

Seeing a whale from a boat is a luxury, an experience so memorable and unique. The sailing until mid-November are short, because whales are very close to the only Whale Watching Port throughout Argentina, Puerto Piramides, the tourist village where we have Eco Lodge.
