The Orcas Season is rising to the top of activity, many photographers of wild nature know that this is the moment to be at Punta Norte.
We met two french photographers who set their tripods and their cameras with 500 mm lens plus duplicator !! They were able to portray Maga catching a baby sea lion . Maga is a female, mother of Mako and Agustin. She attacked without any problem over an area visible from the public area.
After that, the went to the known attack channel, where they did another intentional stranding searching for another sea lion baby, and they did it. Anyway the professional photographers, that were there, were not satisfied because the attack was amazing but with a lot of water around.
As an extra gift, this professionals had the chance to got images from Maga and their son playing with a sea lion for more than half an hour, like they were performing for a circus session. After the training the orcas released the sea lion .
